Apparel Design + Implementation
Over the past seven years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing local graphic designers and even expand my own knowledge of graphic design.
Collaboration with local designers has been essential to the product development of Champion City. From those partnerships plus the demand of merchandise and business promotions, I have educated myself in Adobe Creative Suite programs like Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- IndieCraft: Festival’s brand was developed by Hucklebuck Design Studio then I took the design elements to create a series of limited-edition apparel for the event
- The Rose City: I created this graphic as a way to pay homage to one of Springfield’s lesser known nickname while also referencing the sensational love of Schitt’s Creek with a nod to Rose Apothecary
- ChampCity: An intentional play on Champion Spark Plugs, I took Springfield’s most popular nickname, the Champion City, and crafted our very own version of the iconic graphic
- Ghost Horse of Myers Hall: Collaborated with local graphic designer, Andy Hayes/ Hucklebuck Design Studio, to take the local collegiate legend and turn it into a seasonal graphic
- Pumpkin Carriage: Inspired by the iconic Pumpkin Carriage at Veteran’s Park in Springfield, this graphic was one of nostalgia for all ages; also a collaboration with Hucklebuck Design Studio
- Shark Week: Initially began as summer programming for CCGS, the celebration of Shark Week quickly turned into an annual event, growing into an entire downtown themed DORA Night in 2021. Each year, I design a new limited edition Shark Week graphic that is specific to that year
Corporate + Event Branding
The yearly calendar of publications, networking events, large scale gatherings, annual fundraisers and more has pushed me even further in my Adobe Creative Suite skills.
Using the established brand and brand guidelines for The Partnership, I've developed multiple graphics and icons for the various events, mailers, and programs, as well as, secondary brands for our programing.
Visit Greater Springfield's introduction into large scale community events has also helped me refine and expand my self-taught talents.
